Guns & Hoses began in St. Louis, MO in 1978 and has grown to the be most successful boxing show in America, raising over 1.5 million and drawing more than 18,500 people annually. The Kansas City Guns N Hoses boxing event on began November 12th, 2005 with the hopes of exceeding St. Louis’ success.
The Kansas City Guns N Hoses is powered by the Kansas City Crime Commission, and raises funds for the S.A.F.E. Program. This organization supports the spouses and families of fallen police, firefighters and EMTs who lose their lives in the line of duty.
To date, this important organization has helped 22 families through crisis.
To raise these funds, the Kansas City Guns N Hoses boxing event finds some of the finest men and women of the Kansas and Missouri police department, fire department and emergency medical field to compete in sanctioned boxing matches. These early responders train to compete and represent their fire house or police station while giving their time and body to raise funds for families in crisis.
The 2017 Kansas City Guns N Hoses event will be held at the beautiful Grand Ballroom in the Kansas City Convention Center on October 21, 2017. This is the 8th event for the Kansas City Crime Commission, and the second consecutive event sponsored by TITLE Boxing Club and Title Boxing. Tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster.
