Who We Help

Funds raised at this event are used to provide immediate financial assistance as well as burial services, legal services and annual holiday fund to the families of fallen first responders.

Donations are also used for two annual educational scholarships for dependents of qualified full time Public Safety Officers employed within the S.A.F.E. geographic area of coverage.

Kansas City Guns N’ Hoses is one of the largest fund raisers for the Kansas City Crime Commission’s Surviving Spouse and Family Endowment Fund (S.A.F.E.). The S.A.F.E. program serves the families of those who protect us: Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, Paramedics and EMT’s.

The program covers nine counties: Cass, Clay, Jackson and Platte Counties in Missouri, and Douglas, Johnson, Miami, Shawnee and Wyandotte Counties in Kansas.
